Myth: Passive Income Means Doing Nothing
Passive income is often misunderstood, with people thinking that it’s a way to make money without having to do anything once the initial setup is done.
While passive income can be generated from investments or automated systems, it doesn’t mean doing nothing. To create and maintain passive income streams online, you often need to put in a significant amount of work upfront. For instance, building a successful blog, YouTube channel, or affiliate marketing campaign requires consistent effort to create valuable content, promote products, and grow your audience. Once established, these income sources may become more automated, but they still require ongoing maintenance, content updates, and engagement. Passive income can be lucrative, but it is not entirely “hands-off” work.
